Tarot de Marseille of Jean Dodal
The Jean Dodal deck (from the period 1701–1715 when Dodal was active in Lyon, France) is a very early form of the Tarot de Marseilles decks. The cards were printed from woodcut blocks and hand colored. One copy is preserved in the British Museum; another copy is in the French National Library.
